In honor of Planned Parenthood's mission to provide affordable sexual and reproductive healthcare to the public, and with sorrow that Planned Parenthood was shut down, Poppy will now host two free clinics to help give back to the community and meet people's basic healthcare needs.  If you otherwise would have gone to Planned Parenthood for your care, you are free to schedule an appointment for one of these clinics-- no proof needed.

The STI clinic is on Tuesday nights in the spring, 4p-7p (or walk-in):

Volunteer run. This is not a consultation with a physician.

FREE rapid testing for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis C available at Poppy Direct Care, made possible by Poppy Direct Care, Byja Charitable Alliance and the New Orleans Health Department. 
Testing takes 10-30 minutes. 

NO other STI testing available at this time during this free clinic, just HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis C.

​Planned Parenting at Poppy is on Thursday nights in the spring, 4p-7p (or walk-in):

Volunteer run, and this IS a consultation with Dr. Holt for birth control. You can either ask for refills of what you already like, or make a change to your birth control. If we are placing an IUD or Nexplanon, you will need to schedule another visit for placement once we order the device and get it in. 
Free Plan B if you want it. Free urine pregnancy testing. 

NO other medical consultations available at this time during this free clinic, just contraceptive care.
