Eating disorders are common illnesses that occur in young adults and impact all genders, body types, sexual orientations, races and ethnicities. 95% of eating disorders develop between the ages of 12 and 25 (SAMSHA). Sometimes life or school gets in the way of a healthy relationship with food and body, and causes eating concerns or an actual eating disorder. Eating concerns in young adults can be the explanation for seemingly mysterious nagging symptoms. We provide young adults with an active or recent eating disorder, or simply with eating concerns, the comprehensive care they deserve.
