EATING DISORDER MEMBERSHIP
Eating disorders are common illnesses that impact all genders, body types, sexual orientations, races and ethnicities. 95% of eating disorders develop between the ages of 12 and 25 (SAMSHA). Sometimes life or school gets in the way of a healthy relationship with food and body, and causes eating concerns or an actual eating disorder. Disordered eating can be the explanation for seemingly mysterious nagging symptoms. We provide adults with an active or recent eating disorder, or simply with eating concerns, the comprehensive care they deserve.

Practice Philosophy:
Individualized Care
We take a comprehensive and holistic approach to understanding your personal story, how your eating disorder came to be, and how it impacts your life. We aim to provide weight inclusive care that focuses on non-weight related health measures.
Collaboration
We are just one member on the team and work in conjunction with your therapist, dietitian, Psychiatrist and other clinicians, even if they are out of state.
We Are Proud to Offer:
Medical Concerns
The Eating Concerns Membership includes primary care. Visits can last 30-60 minutes, and offer a space to discuss any medical concerns or symptoms that you may be experiencing. Visits may be done via telemedicine but a physical exam may be necessary at a certain frequency. Visits may consist of labs, an EKG, urine analysis and vital signs.
Physical Exam
You and your doctor will determine the frequency of comprehensive physical exams and vital signs. We encourage all weights to be “blind and gowned,” meaning you don’t see the number on the scale, and you wear only underwear and a gown on our private scale so that we are accurately collecting data. Of course, we also respect bodily autonomy, so we can decide together how and when to weigh.
Labs
Lab work is done onsite and offered to our patients at wholesale cash prices, or billed to your insurance. We will review your lab results with you.
