First Option:
"I'm game!
Sign me up!"

Click the link below to email Dr. Holt your availability and she will schedule a time for a chat. Or, you can call or text 504-788-2904 to find a time that fits. During your 15-minute complimentary phone call, Dr. Holt will get your demographic info and add your name to our waitlist to be scheduled for your intake appointment when we officially open. If you’re a former patient of Dr. Holt’s, or need scholarship-based membership options, please let us know so we can talk discounts.

questions."

Initial Consultation:
Medical History

Once we’ve officially opened, we’ll schedule you for an initial consultation. This is a one-hour appointment dedicated to hearing your story and medical history. This first visit is a review of your intake forms and a discussion about your goals of care. This can be done from the comfort of your own home via telemedicine, but we encourage you to visit our beautiful space. If the shoe fits, we will schedule your first exam at a time convenient to you within the month, maybe even the same day. The day of your first exam is the day the membership starts.

The Physical Exam & Treatment Plan

The second hour of your initial appointment is generally done within the week after your initial visit. It includes a comprehensive medical exam, an in-house EKG, a urine analysis, vital signs including a weight and orthostatic vitals signs (blood pressure and heart rate in lying, sitting and standing position), and possibly labs. At the end of your initial assessment, we will give our recommendation for medical care and discuss a treatment plan. Often, this plan includes creating a treatment team consisting of an Eating Disorder specialized Dietician, therapist, and a Psychiatrist if you don’t already have these. We encourage questions and want our patients to understand our recommendations.
